Application Management Specialist

Москва.Tasks: - Support and manage a mission critical trading infrastructure in an investment bank- Provide second-level support to the users of the system (trading floor, operations, controlling)- Co-ordinate with infrastructure (system/networks/database administrator) teams in locations worldwide to facilitate rollout of new components and to resolve production issues- Use standardized Change Management procedures- Take on the responsibility for compiling/building of applications, and the deployment to the test and production machines worldwide- Create application and developement user environments on the servers- Maintain application documentation- Develop and improve monitoring and support tools- Cross train other members of Application Management Groups worldwide on support for these apps- Performance analysis, debugging and optimization Technical Skills: - Unix/Linux system knowledge- shell scripting using korn shell and perl- IP networks knowledge- application support experience- configuration management- ant/make build tools, CVS/RCS/Perforce version control systems- Java development- management of Applilcation Servers (e.g. BEA Weblogic), Web Servers (Apache)- experience with Market Data Systems (e.g. Reuters Triarch) Personal Skills: - Fluent in English- Good communicator
