The range ofour solutions covers energy management & automation,optimization & control, operation & maintenance, energyrentals as well as parts & repairs and fieldengineering.GE Energy works in all areas of the energy industryincluding coal, oil, natural gas and nuclear energy, as well aswith renewable resources such as water and windenergy.GE Energy Services is looking for Field ApplicationEngineers.The main responsibilities will be:Developing and implementing the overall controls strategy forprojects involving compressor, generator, gas and steam turbinecontrols;Designing a hardware, software configuration packages,operating interface graphics and network topologies according toproject requirements;Engineering and configuration the systems according tocustomers requirements, specifications and GE standards;Leading all field engineering activities of O&G businessunit;Responsible for all aspects of field engineering, fieldservices, commissioning, starting up and project handover tocustomers;Quality project installation, timeliness and customersatisfaction;Leading factory acceptance test, customer approval and systemhandover processes, work closely with project managers, customersand suppliers representatives;Providing assistance to field engineering and fieldinstallation personnel during site start-up and commissioningphase;Leading the technical aspects of customer training;Participation in customer specification clarification and FEED(front end engineering design) documents preparation during ITO(inquiry-to-order) phase;Working closely with other functions in the team to developopportunities, formulation and presentation GE solution tocustomers;Overnight travel (around 30-40%).Requirements:High education (BS Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics orInstrumentation engineering degree);Strong engineering experience in O&G segment, specificallyin compressor control applications, and gas/steam turbine control,including experience and knowledge of compressor processapplications;Experience in developing software and hardware products in thearea of Industrial Controls (no less than 2 years;Knowledge of IEC, ISA, Shell Design/Eng. Standards, CSA, ATEX,CE, and HSE/Hazop experience;Strong analytical, interpersonal and computer skills, abilityto multi-task in a dynamic, geographically dispersed teamenvironment;Experience of working with dedicated Unit Controllers (with DCSand PLC systems are preferable);Team player personality with high energy level, ability tomanage global teams in matrix environment and start-up businessmentality;Customer-focused skills, demonstrated by experience in projectengineering, customer services or projeсt;Fluent English.Ability to travel around 30-40%.GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a greatwork environment, challenging career opportunities, professionaltraining and competitive compensation.
