As Head of Finance Russia you will be responsible for operating as a key partner to the Vision Care and Surgical Cluster Franchise Heads to drive implementation of business strategies, monitor business performance and to identify business risks and opportunities. As Country Finance Lead, you will be overseeing the company control framework (SOX), local statutory financial statements, funds flow, treasury in addition to local co-ordination of statutory and tax audits. In this role, a typical day will include: Proactive management of the Vision Care and Surgical P&Ls, in partnership with the Russia EEU Franchise Heads taking ownership and accountability of financial outcomes Leadership of Financial Performance and Analysis processes for both Franchises including management reporting, budgeting & forecasting and resource allocation Act as the strategic and operational business partner to both Franchise Heads providing financial and business decision support andto enable timely and data-based decision making within the franchise Ownership of Country Head of Finance duties including (but not limited to): on time month end close completion , oversight on AFCM control framework , SOX reporting for the entities, statutory and tax audit coordination together with FRA/Tax, local profitability management in coordination with Group Tax Ensure end to end ownership of the Equipment Financing Agreements (EFA) process, as a strategic commercial model, through multi-functional stakeholder management Close partnering with the Demand Planning & Supply Chain functions to ensure supply to Russia with optimised inventory levels ,monitor stock in trade with distributors and obsolescence risks Monitor Working Capital Management of the business across oth franchises monitor AR and maintain overdue under control and continuous improvement of AR DSO WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON: Relevant academic background, e.g. Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar 8+ years of financial planning & analysis experience with some experience in accounting & reporting Excellent financial analysis skills, advanced modeling and system skills are necessary to identify, present, and challenge key business assumptions Strong knowledge of Russian GAAP and tax framework Solid negotiation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) combined with strong business acumen are required to effectively interact and influence all levels of management Fluent Russian and English mandatory HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON: A competitive salary package with fixed salary, bonus, pension and attractive benefits You get the chance to help people see brilliantly.
