Санкт-Петербург.Job Description The IT/EC Client support engineer has responsibility for day to day site support of engineering systems including h/w and s/w support for Windows and Unix based client systems. Duties include system hardware configuration, operating system installation, troubleshooting, client backups, account administration, technology evaluations, s/w lab support and other support-related tasks.Technical Skills Minimum 2 years industry experience and advanced University-level technical degree (or equivalent) Deep technical knowledge in computing and communications including systems administration in Unix, Windows, networking, NFS, NIS, TCP/IP, engineering applications and programming. Experience with customer support Experience working with vendors and suppliersBehavioral Skills Strong operational and organizational skills. Able to work across multiple organizations and geographies. Good decision making skills. Able to make decisions in an ambiguous environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills Good discipline. Must be able to manage and deliver multiple tasks/projects on time. Good planning and project management skills. Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations and requirements. Ability and willingness to quickly learn new tasks and take on new responsibilities.
