USA, is lookingfor a Software developer.The candidate will be member of St.Petersburg R&D team andwill have development responsibilities for different areas ofCodeGear RAD Studio (includes Delphi, Delphi for .NET andC++Builder).CodeGear RAD Studio is a award-winning integrated developmentenvironment (IDE) with hundreds of ready-to-use components andfeatures like refactorings, code completion, syntax highlighting,live templates, full-featured debugging, UML modeling, unit testingand database connectivity. It is the only IDE solution thatsupports Rapid Application Development (RAD) of both nativeMicrosoft Windows and .NET applications on and for MicrosoftWindows 2000, XP, and Vista.In this position, candidate will be responsible for developing,implementing, and maintaining different subsystems of CodeGear RADStudio to meet business requirements. Other responsibilities willinclude (but not limited to) verifying and testing providedfunctionality, debugging, optimization of code, preparing unittests and providing bug fixing.Desired knowledge and skills:Strong knowledge of at least one mainstream language (preferredproficiency in Delphi Win32/.NET, C++, C# and in-depth knowledge oflanguage concepts) and development experience for Windows .NETframework.Good understanding of OOP/OOD concepts, good algorithmic andimplementation skills.Strong technical background, ability and willingness to learn newtechnologies.Strong analytical thinking. Good team player. Good communication(verbal and written) skills. Reasonable technical English skillsare a must (reading technical documentation, writng reports).The ideal candidate will have experience within commercialsoftware development and a Bachelors/Master Degree in computerscience, mathematics, or software engineering.The following knowledge and skills will be aplus:Experience working with tool development, compilers and parsingsource code.Experience working with UML modeling, XML.Experience in using Delphi, C++Builder for commercialdevelopment.Experience in using a source control environment (such asSubversion, cvs) and bug tracking systems.Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle andQA process in a commercial product development environment.Understanding of localization considerations.We offer:Interesting work in international team.
