Responsibilities: Development of methods and approaches for measurement and improvement of software performance characteristics Design and implementation of software. systems for early prototyping and testing (includes e.g. simulators, test generators, real-time logging agents and analysis scripts). Implementation of technologies and tools for performance modeling, prediction and efficient bottleneck elimination. Cooperation with system and software design experts inside global Siemens and in external communities. Requirements: Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering; PhD with focus on performance topic is a plus. Solid practical experience in design, testing and deployment of distributed enterprise-size systems (C++/C#, Java, esp. JBOSS). Strong knowledge of modern enterprise technologies (e.g. SOA, Web services, Federated Databases, BPEL engines). Experience with Model Driven Development for enterprise and knowledge of related technologies (e.g. UML, BPMN). Experience with IT Service Management Platforms (e.g. BMC Remedy) is a plus. Fluent in spoken and written English. At least 3 years of working experience related to above topics.
